High School Information

Norwich Free Academy

Norwich Free Academy, incorporated 1854, is the only remaining privately governed, independently endowed academy in the state of Connecticut. Blending the very best of private and public education, NFA offers students a truly unparalleled four year student experience. Ledyard High School

Ledyard High School's mission is to engage all students in meaningful learning, providing them with the skills necessary to reach their potential through achievement of academic, civic, and social expectations, essential to personal fulfillment, responsible citizenship, and lifelong learning.

Ledyard Agri-Science and Technology

Ledyard Agri-Science and Technology is an elective course offered in conjunction with required high school classes. The Agri-Science Department offers career training in a variety of areas such as Animal Science, Aquaculture, Natural Resources, Agricultural Mechanics/Technology, and Plant Science. Students in Southeastern Connecticut are eligible to apply for admission.

Griswold High School

Griswold High School fosters a tight-knit community where students receive individualized support every step of the way to discover their passions, engage with their community, safely express themselves, and journey into the future as resilient young adults. Griswold Public Schools is future-focused, supporting cutting-edge instructional tools and cultivating an advanced-technology lab with STEM and award-winning Esports programs. Additionally, the district's state-of-the-art Community Multi-Purpose Turf Field and Track benefits numerous student programs. The school boasts a vibrant array of more than 65 clubs and sports, enabling students to nurture their talents and participate in a range of activities as Griswold Wolverines. GHS goes beyond traditional academics, offering over 24 college credit-earning courses, a Youth Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative program, and various career pathways.

Wheeler High School

The mission of Wheeler High School, in partnership with families and community, is to provide students with the education that will best help them to live a life of accomplishment and satisfaction in a complex and changing world.

Norwich Tech

Norwich Technical High School offers 12 technology programs covering the following clusters for grades 9-12: Construction, Hospitality, Health Occupations, Transportation and Technology. Their academic program is competitive and comprehensive. Students must take core courses, but also have the opportunity to add electives to fulfill their credit requirements. In their junior year, students also have the ability to take advantage of our work-based learning program, where they can earn credit while working during the school day in their trade.

Grasso Tech

Grasso Tech is committed to providing students with a rigorous, comprehensive academic experience and the opportunity to learn a trade. Their faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing students with the necessary skills for the 21st century. This unique and distinctive educational experience allows many of Grasso's graduates to go on and attend colleges, universities or a head start if they choose to pursue opportunities related to their trade.

Multi-Magnet Secondary School

The Multi-Magnet Secondary School enrolls approximately 1,500 students in grades 6-12. The Secondary School enrolls students in three, comprehensive magnet pathways focused on International Education(IB candidate), STEM and Visual and Performing Arts. The Secondary School boasts two campuses: BDJ Multi-Magnet Middle School Campus and NLHS Multi-Magnet Campus.

Marine Science Magnet High School

The Marine Science Magnet High School is a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. The MSMHS Family believes that effort creates ability and that all students can succeed. Their learning community is committed to innovative instruction that promotes effort and ensures academic rigor through a curriculum responsive to our diverse student body. Furthermore, the MSMHS community collaborates with all members to prepare students for post-secondary education by supporting the personal, academic, and career goals of every student.
