"FUN WITH GAMES & SCIENCE"

Thursday, December 6th is a half-day for Preston Plains School students because of staff professional development. Preston Youth Services and Preston Plains School PTO will be co-sponsoring “Fun with Games & Science” after school program from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. This program will be open to all Preston Plains School students. Also, school bus transportation will be available at the conclusion of this program for students who either need a ride to OK Kids or home.

Mad Science will be presenting their “Visit Santa’s Little Science Workshop”. This is a 45-minute spectacular show that is both educational and entertaining to students. Workshop participants will make their own Super Science Balls and special Snowy Slime. In addition to the science workshop, students will play board and card games with each other. Games to include: chess, backgammon, checkers, rummy…or come with a different game and teach all your friends how to play.

Registration fee for this after school workshop is $5.00 per student.

The Preston Plains Middle School PTO is joining forces with the Preston Park & Recreation Dept. to plan many after school activities and fun nights! Look for flyers in backpacks and the occasional Connect Ed messages soon!

Thank you once again to the many parents who volunteer their time to help make PPMS a fantastic middle school!
