Welcome to Preston Veterans’ Memorial School!

As your new Principal, I am thrilled to welcome everyone to our website and our school. I am honored to have been chosen to serve the educational community of Preston. Making a difference in the lives of children and working with teachers and parents is what guides me to do my job! I love seeing children learn, grow and thrive in school. I am inspired by truly outstanding teachers. This is a part of what motivates me to help all teachers to be the best they can be, everyday.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students at PVMS, visiting classrooms and working collaboratively with teachers and parents. I understand the challenges we face and I am ready, willing and able to meet the challenges head-on.

My teaching career began in 1978 with the belief that all students can and want to learn in a safe and encouraging learning environment and I possessed the will, energy and enthusiasm to ensure that they do. In the past 30 years, I have not lost these core beliefs. In fact, what began as persistent passion has deepened to become a part of my life to the extent that I live and breathe educational rights for all children.

I firmly believe that parents and all community members must be our partners in the important job of educating the children of Preston. I welcome your suggestions and encourage your involvement in your school and the educational lives of your children, our future.
