Students attending Preston Plains Middle School in August of 2008 are required to complete summer reading. The books will be discussed and assessed during the first few weeks of school during a Language Arts or a Reading class.
Grade 6
Required Reading for all incoming 6th graders:

Be prepared to return to school and participate in classroom activities related to the required reading.
Grade 7 and Grade 8

Be prepared to return to school and participate in classroom activities related to the required reading. Keep a chapter journal of the reading you have done so that you can refer to it and remember the specifics about the book you have read.
